Chihuahua (details)

Chihuahua's ideal adult dog height should be between 15-23cm, and its ideal adult dog weight should be between 1-3kg. The smaller the size, the more popular it is, so the price on the market is not low. < br> morphological characteristics < /strong>
Chihuahuas are cream, red, brown, black with tan. The hair of short breeds is soft. There are decorative hairs on the ears, limbs and tail of the hairy species, and the length of the hairs on the body surface does not mop the floor. Long-haired Chihuahuas are more afraid of cold. Common colors are: hazel, maroon or white.
The head should be a round "apple-shaped" head. Beautiful expression. The eyes are big but not prominent, well-proportioned, and it is best to show bright black or red (pale yellow or white dogs are allowed to have white eyes). Big ears, erect ears, keep more upright when alert, but when resting, the ears will be separated, with a 45-degree angle between them. The muzzle is short and slightly pointed. Black, blue and chocolate varieties, the nose color is consistent with their body color. Pale yellow varieties are allowed to have pink noses. Scissor bite or pincer bite. Maxillary protrusion or mandibular protrusion is a serious defect.
The neck is slightly curved and perfectly combined with the shoulder. The topline is horizontal. Round ribs support the chest and make the body strong (but can't form a barrel chest). The tail is moderately long, held up or out in a sickle shape, or rolled on the back, with the tail tip just touching the back (never sandwiched between the legs). Short or broken tail is not good. The forelimb shoulders are narrow, gradually widened downward, and the forelegs are straight, so that the elbow movement is unconstrained. Shoulders should be up, balanced and firm, and tilted towards the back (shoulders should not be down or too low). Broad chest and strong front half, but never like a bulldog's chest. The feet are slender, and the toes are just separated on the beautiful little feet, but not too wide apart, and the pads are thick (not like rabbit feet or cat feet). Wrists are slender.
The muscles of hind legs are strong, with proper distance, not too inward or too outward, and looking down, they are strong and firm. With forelimb. Ideally, there should be feathers on the feet and legs, shorts on the hind legs, and fur collars on the neck. If the long hair is sparse and almost naked, it is bad.
The short-haired coat is very soft, compact and smooth (undercoat is allowed when the amount of hair is large enough). The coat covers the dog's body with a collar and tail, and the coat on the head and ears is sparse. The hair on the tail resembles fur. Long-haired coat is soft, flat or slightly curved, preferably with undercoat. There are feathers on the edges of the ears (if the ears are thin and there are more feathers, the ears may lean slightly down and forward, but never down). The tail is plump and long (feathery). Ideally, there should be fur on the feet and legs, shorts on the back, and fur collar on the neck. Long hair disqualification: sparse coat, almost naked
